March for Life 2013
More than 2,000 Catholics from the Philadelphia area were among the vast throng in Washington, D.C., on Jan. 25 to witness for the sanctity of life, in conjunction with the 40th anniversary of the Roe vs. Wade Supreme Court decision declaring abortion legal in the United States.

- Villanova University students were among the many from the Philadelphia Archdiocese who made the trip to Washington D.C. for the March for Life.
- Young people met up Thursday night, Jan. 24, at St. Raymond Church for an overnight with activities and Mass. The woke early Friday morning and headed down to the march in Washington.
- At St. Raymond Church in Philadelphia Father Chris Walsh celebrated Mass Jan. 24 for the young people who were spending the night at the church to wake early and head to the March for Life in Washington D.C.
- Young ladies from St. Hubert High School braved the cold to participate in the March for Life.
- Seminarians and priests from St. Charles Borromeo Seminary, joined by Bishop John McIntyre, participated in the march.
- Local youths lend their voices to the Mass before the march.
