Wednesday, October 15, 2014 Our Lady’s Missionaries of the Eucharist Invite you to: An evening of prayer and reflection on Our Lady of Fatima’s Peace Plan from Heaven. 7 PM Mass followed by conference: Presenter Fr. Harry McCreedy. Father McCreedy has been the spiritual leader for over 20 pilgrimages to Fatima. America needs the message Our Lady gave at Fatima. She is the TEACHER of the WAY to PEACE. The Blessed Virgin Mary, the Mother of God, appeared six times to three shepherd children in Fatima, Portugal, between May 13 and October 13, 1917. Appearing to the children, the Blessed Virgin told them that she had been sent by God with a message for every man, woman and child living in our century. Coming at a time when civilization was torn asunder by war and bloody violence, she promised that heaven would grant peace to all the world if Her requests for prayer, reparation, and consecration were heard and obeyed. ‘If My requests are granted …there will be peace’. Seeking Anglicans, Former Anglicans, and Others
CHURCH OF ST. MICHAEL THE ARCHANGEL – A CATHOLIC PARISH OF THE ORDINARIATE of the Chair of St. Peter, seeks Anglicans, former Anglicans, and others who desire reverent worship and faithful preaching & teaching of the Catholic Faith. The Ordinariate in North America was erected by Pope Benedict XVI in January, 2012, and St. Michael’s (founded in the Episcopal Church in 1846) entered it in April of that year. Our Ordinariate Liturgy preserves elements of Anglican heritage, both Liturgy and Hymnody, in communion with Rome. One does not have to be of Anglican background to appreciate the resulting blend, which is both beautiful and faithful. The liturgy has the transcendence of the Extraordinary Form, but in traditional English rather than Latin. The mission which Pope Benedict gave the Ordinariate, as part of the New Evangelization, is to foster the Anglican heritage within the Communion of the See of Peter, and to seek out Anglicans and others who desire full Communion with the Catholic Church. Come help us with our mission! We worship on Sundays at 9:00 at Holy Cross Church, 140 East Mount Airy Avenue, in Mount Airy (Philadelphia, PA 19119). Following Mass, coffee hour includes social time and frequent Adult Forums, plus Sunday School. The membership of our parish is drawn from all over the Tri-State region. Daily Mass, and a Wednesday morning Bible Study are offered in the Chapel at St. Therese, 6611 Ardleigh Street, also in Mount Airy. For the full schedule and additional information, see our website at, or call 215-247-1092.
