Archbishop Charles Chaput will join a panel of local theologians at St. Charles Borromeo Seminary to discuss the mission of the family during “The Cardinals’ Forum” on Monday, Aug. 25 at 7 p.m. at the seminary, located at 100 East Wynnewood Road, Wynnewood.

The forum is an annual event designed to highlight the beginning of the academic year at the seminary.

Bishop Timothy Senior, rector, will open the session with a prayer, followed by three speakers and a discussion titled “The Vocation and Mission of the Family in the Church and in the World.” The discussion will be moderated by Father Robert Pesarchick, new vice president of academic affairs at the seminary.

The panel’s participants include Archbishop Chaput, Redemptorist Father Dennis Billy (the John Cardinal Krol Chair of Moral Theology at the seminary) and Oblate Father Thomas Dailey (the John Cardinal Foley Chair of Social Communications at the seminary).

Members of the audience will have the opportunity to engage the speakers in the discussion.
