Priests and deacons from across the Philadelphia Archdiocese join religious and lay faithful Dec. 3 in the cathedral to pray for the nine priests named monsignors.

Archbishop Chaput speaks to the priests and the congregation at the evening Liturgy of the Word.

The documents declaring the honors by Pope Francis upon the nine archdiocesan priests are ready to be given to the monsignors.

Father Hank McKee rocks!
I am happy for Msgr. Vogan and Msgr. Corley, two Delco priests who have served well. I am also puzzled because I am fairly certain that Pope Francis said that there would be no more priests given the title of Monsignor. Am I wrong about that?
The pope said he would limit papal honors with the title monsignor, not cease them.
