Ron Dominguez and his friends restored their St. John of the Cross Parish’s creche over six years, then kept adding to it. When the parish merged with Queen of Peace the beloved tradition came along and healed the transition among parishioners old and new. One view of the Nativity scene of Queen of Peace Parish in Ardsley shows the painstakingly restored figurines that had been displayed each Christmas at St. John of the Cross Parish before it merged with Queen of Peace in 2014. The Nativity draws numerous visitors to the parish, helping smooth the transition for parishioners and leading hearts to Jesus.

My husband I really enjoyed seeing the whole Nativity scene set up , complete with Shepherds, Wise Men , animals and special lighting to create a night time starry display . Even the campfires looked real and there was food for the animals and birds. it’s an amazing glimpse of the Holy Family and Birth of Christ that occurred over 2,000 years ago! It takes you there!
At Christmas time it’s a “MUST SEE”!
