In Catholic League football, Ryan beats Judge, 32-31, in OT
Arcbhbishop Ryan football team, coached by Frank McArdle, beat Father Judge,coached by Tom Coyle, 32-31 in a nail-biting overtime game on Saturday October 13, 2012 at Northeast High School. Ryan’s record stands at 4-3. They will face Lansdale Catholic this Saturday, October 20 for a non-league game at Washington High School. Father Judge’s record stands at 2-4. On Saturday October 20 they will host St. Joseph’s Prep (6-0) at Northeast High School in a Philadelphia Catholic AAA game.
St. Charles falls in seminary soccer tourney
Saint Charles Borromeo Seminary hosted the third annual Vianney Cup soccer tournament on Saturday Sept. 29. Prior to the start ofthe tournament, Archbishop Charles J. Chaput, O.F.M. Cap., Archbishop of Philadelphia, celebrated Mass at St. Martin's Chapel on Saint Charles' campus.
