NORTH WALES — Mary, Mother of the Redeemer School’s second graders put their brushes to the canvas as they created original artwork to benefit the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation. Teachers helped each student create a painting with the intention that it would be “sold” for charity. On Nov. 18, dressed as budding artists, the students presented their creations to parents, grandparents and friends at a reception that included beverages and cheese and crackers. The endeavor raised $700 which was donated for cancer research.
