A memorial Mass for Bishop Joseph P. McFadden will be celebrated at Cardinal O’Hara High School in Springfield at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 15. The bishop, who served as president of the school from 1993 to 2001, died May 2 and was buried May 8 in Harrisburg, for which he served the diocese as its 10th bishop.
Light refreshments will be served after the Mass.
An archdiocesan Mass in memory of Bishop McFadden will be celebrated on what would have been his 66th birthday, May 22, at 7 p.m. in the Cathedral Basilica of SS. Peter and Paul, Philadelphia. All are invited to participate.
