Hundreds of people with the Catholic Charismatic Renewal worshiped during Mass celebrated by Archbishop Charles Chaput on Saturday, March 28 at Conwell-Egan High School in Fairless Hills, Bucks County. It capped the 35th annual day-long conference for all the Catholic charismatics in the Philadelphia Archdiocese, and the theme was “Unity and Diversity in the Body of Christ.” The conference also welcomed many teenagers for a Youth Track with activities, talks and prayer. You may have noticed “pay walls” greeting you when you visit the websites of newspapers and magazines, both large and small. These mechanisms allow you to read a few articles for free before you’ve got to pay an annual fee if you want to see more.
You won’t find a pay wall on CatholicPhilly.com because we’re more than a news organization. We’re informing, inspiring and forming readers in the Catholic faith every day through the news, features and commentaries that we post on this site and share across social media.
It costs money to provide high-quality coverage of the local Catholic communities we primarily serve, while also distributing national and world news of interest to Catholics, plus the orthodox teachings of the Catholic faith.

The Charismatic conference on Saturday, March 28th was a wonderful time with the Lord Jesus, celebrating His love for us and our love for each other and our Catholic faith. Praising the Lord openly with fellow Christians is a gift that I cherish. Thank you all who worked so hard to bring us all together. Praise God!!
I enjoyed the speakers. Especially Jose Romero. He and I are on the same page as far as Muslim are concerned. But not quite as strong because I believe that God created all of us and we have to find a way to love all like Jesus. Love & prayer Paul PS I just found out that Bishop Chaput is a 4th degree. Maybe I will pay my dues
The 35th annual Catholic Charismatic Conference was a wonderful experience of God’s Love and Grace. The Mass with Archbishop Chaput was inspiring, uplifting and instructive. The Marths’s House music was excellent. The speakers were dynamic, inspiring and Spirit filled. The Benediction with Fr. Robert Hilz, TOR was beautiful. We encouraged to lay our burdens down as we placed palm branches at the Altar. I believe the Lord was strengthening our resolve to lay our burdens down and giving us the freedom to do His will. I want to thank everyone who worked so hard to prepare this beautiful day of prayer.
The Archdiocese of Philadelphia Charismatic Renewal gave us a wonderful day in the Lord, coming together in unity at Conwell-Egan High School, Fairless Hills on March 28th. The Band Martha’s House lead us in Contempory Musical Worship. Archbishop Charles Chaput celebrated Mass and was the Homlist. All the Speakers, Jim Archer, Dr. Mark Nimo and Jesse Romero were captivating. Thank you’s to all the extra priests who came to hear Confessions and the Vendors were very much appreciated. The Youth Teen Track had their own Speakers, Fr. Christopher Walsh, Fr. Jim Otto and Conwell’s own Fr. Matthew Travlies, and Fr Fidelis Weber and their Leader Lisa Kopertowski. I would say a great time of getting together in prayer, laughter and worship was had by all.
