Music lovers will have a chance to relive the beautiful hymns sung at the Mass celebrated by Pope Francis Sept. 27 on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway – plus some hymns that were listed on the program but never sung – at a concert by the Papal Choir Monday, Oct. 19 at 7:30 p.m. in the Cathedral Basilica of SS. Peter and Paul in Philadelphia.

As at the papal Mass, David Kimock will conduct the choir – accompanied again on organ by Sandor Kadar – consisting of the archdiocesan and cathedral choirs, high school choir, children’s choir and hundreds of members from archdiocesan parish choirs.

Titled “A Celebration in Song: Giving Thanks, Reliving the Memories,” the concert is free and parking is free in the cathedral lot.
