The fifth annual Fertility Care Appreciation event, the Mother-Daughter Tea, is a special program held Saturday, Feb. 6 from 1-4 p.m. for mothers and daughters to interact in a facilitated group setting while they learn about the gift of fertility and how to care for it.

It will be held at the National Shrine of Our Lady of Czestochowa, 654 Ferry Road in Doylestown.

Talks will focus on the sacredness of human life, the physical changes in a girl’s body, the importance of modesty and the development of healthy parent and peer relationships. Recommended ages are 10 to 13. The “Looks for Real Beauty and Fashion” segment will help girls see what they wear makes a difference. A mom-and-daughter guided discussion and a Q&A session are also featured.

Mothers and daughters will hear from a health care professional trained in the Creighton Model FertilityCare System and an experienced, young, energetic speaker will talk about practical and empowering tips on modesty. Both emphasize respect, understanding and appreciation for God’s gift of fertility.

Registration is required for this event. Price is $15 per person. Visit this webpage to register.
