Speedy Morris, legendary basketball coach at St. Joseph’s Preparatory School and previously at La Salle University and Roman Catholic High School, will speak about how the Blessed Mother has impacted his life during his talk “Why Mary? The Answer is Easy,” on April 21 at 7 p.m. at the Miraculous Medal Art Museum.
The museum is located across from the Miraculous Medal Shrine at 475 East Chelten Avenue in the Germantown section of Philadelphia.
Morris’ talk is part of the Central Association of the Miraculous Medal Speaker Series, which presents noteworthy Catholic speakers throughout the year to inspire people in their faith and devotion to the Blessed Mother.
The event is free but seating is limited; RSVP by April 15.
