A Mass offered for the repose the souls of 50 victims of the recent shooting in Orlando, Fla., will be celebrated Sunday, June 19 at 6:30 p.m. in the Cathedral Basilica of SS. Peter and Paul by Father G. Dennis Gill, rector.
The Mass will include special intercessory prayers asking for the mercy of God on all those who suffered and died in the attack, especially Akyra Murray, a recent graduate of West Catholic Preparatory High School.
Confessions will be heard by priests before the Mass beginning at 5:30 p.m.
All are welcome to attend.
