St. Patrick Parish in Norristown hosted a Mass Sept. 20 in thanksgiving for the canonization earlier this month of St. Teresa of Calcutta. The founder of the Missionaries of Charity, whose sisters staff a convent adjacent to the church and offer an outreach ministry to the poor of the Norristown area, had visited her sisters there several times. Auxiliary Bishop John McIntyre was the main celebrant of the Mass. St. Patrick’s pastor, Father Gus Puleo, and other priests concelebrated, and deacons assisted at the altar. (Photos by Sarah Webb)
