Sister Theresa Rita Suplick, S.S.J., (formerly Sister Miriam Andrew) age 90, died at St. Joseph Villa, Flourtown, in the 72nd year of her religious life. She entered the Sisters of St. Joseph in 1945 and professed final vows in 1953.
Born in Patterson, N.J., Sister Theresa was the daughter of Walter and Mary O’Leary Suplick. She entered from Nativity B.V.M. Parish in Philadelphia and ministered in the dioceses of Allentown, Camden and Harrisburg, and archdioceses of Philadelphia and Washington.
She was the sister of Frank Suplick, Constance Fox, the late Walter Suplick, Mary C. Corcoran and Regina Suplick (Sister Consilii). She is survived also by nieces, nephews and members of her Congregation, the Sisters of St. Joseph.
Her funeral Mass was celebrated Tuesday, May 30 at St. Joseph Villa.
