Event Description
Come join the Young Adults of St. Thomas of Villanova for their Theology on Tap series. They will focus on women and their vocation to the church, with Professor Kelly Anderson from St. Charles Borromeo Seminary.

According to Edith Stein, a common characteristic of women is “a longing to give love and to receive love, and in this respect a yearning to be raised above a narrow, day-to-day existence into the realm of a higher being.” If Stein is right, then this implies a woman’s fulfillment is inseparable from relationships. So while the nature and essence of women will be explored in this talk, the nature and essence of God and men, those with whom she lives in relation, must also be examined.
