Father Edmund McCullough, O.P., from St. Patrick Church in Philadelphia will discuss the Dominican order’s mission and distinctive characteristics of the Order of Preachers. Learn their lifestyle of poverty, traveling and living in urban areas for the purposes of preaching, evangelization and ministry to the poor.
The talk is part of St. Philip Neri Parish’s ongoing series of local clergymen speaking on spiritual topics. The next talk is Tuesday, May 14 from 7 to 8 p.m. with Father Jeffrey Rott, parochial vicar at St. Jude Church in Chalfont, speaking on “Good vs. Evil.”
