Event Description

The Shroud of Turin is a centuries-old linen cloth which bears the image of a crucified man, a man that millions believe to be Jesus Christ. Annunciation BVM parish has invited a speaker who has spent thirty years studying the shroud in all its aspects. He will display a life-size replica of the shroud and a two-foot statue which shows the position in which the body of Jesus was when he was wrapped in the burial cloth in order to be placed in the tomb.

Massimo Paris, of Broomall, PA, was born and raised in Rome, Italy.

For three decades he has studied, conducted research, and visited sites related to the Shroud. He went to Turin for the exhibition in the year 2000, and venerated it personally.

There is no entrance fee to the PowerPoint presentation; a basket will be available for those who may wish to make a free will donation.
