The Archdiocesan Office for Divine Worship will host an overview of Credo, a catechetical curriculum developed by the Dominican Friars and the Thomistic Institute.

Produced by St. Benedict Press, the video-based instruction includes seven sessions on mystagogy, the final period of adult initiation into the faith.

The Aug. 22 session, which will take place from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Archdiocesan Pastoral Center, will be presented by Father Dennis Gill, director of the Office for Divine Worship and rector of the Cathedral Basilica of SS. Peter and Paul.

Father Gill will address how the Credo program can assist parishes in identifying volunteer catechists and engaging catechumens throughout the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA).

Anyone who is engaged in Christian Initiation (RCIA) in parishes and institutions is encouraged to attend this presentation.

The Archdiocesan Pastoral Center Auditorium is located at 222 North 17th Street in Philadelphia. Parking will be available at the center’s lot.

To attend, please RSVP (by August 9th, if possible) to Mary Ann Johnson at Majohnson@archphila.org
