The juniors and their families and friends gathered in the Cardinal Dougherty High School auditorium recently for the Mass at which they receive their class rings. The graduating students from Our Lady of Confidence spanision also attended and received rings.
School President Father Carl Janicki celebrated the Mass, and school minister Deacon Stephen A. Guckin assisted at the altar. Members of the Class of 2011 shared the duties of greeters, readers, and altar servers.
After Communion, Diana Graeber, assistant principal of student affairs, and the junior homeroom moderators distributed the rings to each junior. The ceremony ended with the singing of the alma mater.
