CHESTER – More than 100 Immaculata University students spent Aug. 28 sprucing up the chapel at St. Katharine Drexel Parish in Chester. The students painted, cleaned the inside and outside of the church, pulled up rugs and repaired and cleaned the food cupboard there.
Msgr. Joseph McLoone, pastor of St. Katharine Drexel Parish, along with Sister Barbara Tickner, I.H.M., and Sister Mary Ellen Broderick, I.H.M., welcomed the students and faculty.
The efforts are part of Immaculata University’s First-Year Experience (FYE) program.
