Students from St. Margaret School in Narberth along with their parents and teachers participated in a walkathon through Narberth and the surrounding community d to raise funds for school capital expenses. Installation of Smart Boards in every classroom from kindergarten to 8th grade and new windows throughout the building are some of the examples where capital funding has benefited St. Margaret School.
This year’s walkathon was coordinated by parent volunteers led by Susie Russo, mother to Anna, grade 8 and Gianni, grade 5. Susie was excited about sponsorship from local business owners which defrayed the cost of the new shirts while she reports that over $12,000 has been raised to date.
