PHILADELPHIA – To ensure that every school in the greater Philadelphia and South Jersey regions has an opportunity to submit a project entry for the Beneficial Foundation School Challenge, Beneficial Bank has extended the submission deadline to December 2. The Beneficial Foundation School Challenge program will award multiple $5,000, $1,000 and $500 grants, for a total of $13,000 in grant prizes.
This program gives schools and students within Beneficial’s footprint the opportunity to submit their proposals for unique project ideas to enhance the learning experience in their schools and compete for grant prizes. Schools and students can submit their project ideas in one of three different subject areas- Financial Literacy/Math, Science/History or Language Arts/Reading.
