Pope francis is definitely a Catholic pope a people’s pope a everyone can connect with. Hes a pope of peace. I am not a catholic but I have respect for pope as he has sided ether way on the las mavinas (Falklands islands) dispite his heart going towards argentine side if he was honest though nevertheless hes sided with no one and he hows being a true man of peace. Also how he loves disabled and elderly people a like and he warms my knowing the catholic church has a pope that shows great humanity and wants to try and live the my simplistic life at the vatican which I great admiration for the pope trying todo living at st marthas house. I will look forward in seeing how pope francis as pope develop in time and look forward which countries he visits in future and look forward what saint john paul 2nd making stronger ties with other relationships and also importantly he sorts all these fellow priests/bishops and cardinals that sexually abused young kids and get help with whatever these former fellowmen that abused kids in the past and makes sure whomever is found guilty is struck off as clergy and I hope he wont hide former fellow clergy as past popes have. As in my opinion they dont deserve any protection or help as they on the hush as are being at present. I am glad to former pope benadict 16th stepped down as he may have been popular pope in grrmany and austria but in my opinion had only a few other fans elsewhere compared too pope john paul 2nd and now pope francis has now. I really admire and respect pope francis as always hello and actknowages disabled, elderly children and poor people too. Which as a disabled man myself touches my heart as he reminds me so much of saint john paul when he meets all various vunrable people I believe pope francis is a gift from god and saint john paul 2nd too. May god bless popes benadicts 16th and pope francis from Dan Reed – Allan Shrewsbury uk
