Christ the King Parish in Northeast Philadelphia is sponsoring its fourth annual Ministry Fair Saturday, Sept. 21 from 5 to 7 p.m. and Sunday, Sept. 22 from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
The event in the parish hall showcases each of the parish’s 30 ministries, along with displays by the parish school and parish religious education program.
The parish hopes to attract more than 500 parishioners and visitors from the local community to learn about the many services provided by the parish. Each ministry will display information and a representative will be available to speak to attendees.
The event is part of the parish’s overall effort to promote a model of stewardship utilizing parishioners’ time, talent and treasure.
Participants will be eligible for prizes and enjoy food and refreshments. Children will enjoy special activities and entertainment.
Christ the King Parish is located at 3252 Chesterfield Road in Philadelphia.
