The Adult Faith Formation Workshop to be held May 9 from 9:30 a.m. to 12 noon will focus on the theme, “New Media, New Mission: Evangelizing through Social Communications” and feature Oblate Father Thomas Dailey, Cardinal John Foley chair of social communications at St. Charles Seminary.
It will be held at the St. Thomas of Villanova Parish Auditorium located at 1229 East Lancaster Avenue in Rosemont. Cost for the workshop is $25. Register here.

According to the event’s organizer, the Archdiocese of Philadelphia’s Office for the New Evangelization, the workshop will explore Catholics’ baptismal call to evangelization and its implementation in the area of social communications.
The event begins with theological foundations and moves into practical education on the use of new media in giving witness to Christ and his church, especially in a parish context.
