The St. Peter Respect Life Committee will host a presentation titled, “Suicide: A Catholic Understanding and Response,” on Sunday, Nov. 16 at St. Peter Church, 2835 Manor Road in West Brandywine. A talk for young people will be held at 1:30 p.m. A second presentation for adults will be offered at 4 p.m.
The speaker, John Beaulieu, will discuss church teaching on suicide and the stigma of suicide and mental illness. He is director of partnerships and engagement in the Christian Outreach Office for Franciscan University of Steubenville.
