Curran-Fromhold Correctional Facility in Northeast Philadelphia hosted a pastoral visit and Mass celebrated by Archbishop Charles Chaput on Jan. 15. The Prison Ministry Program of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, which sponsored the visit, carries out the corporal work of mercy to visit those in prison by maintaining a constant presence in area prisons. Through the ministry, the Catholic Church responds to the pastoral and sacramental needs of prisoners, their families and victims of crime. (Photos by Sarah Webb)
