Scythian performs a benefit concert for Holy Family Home for the elderly April 11.

The Little Sisters of the Poor’s spring concert features the rock band Scythian on Saturday, April 11 at Villanova University’s Jake Nevin Fieldhouse at 800 Lancaster Avenue in Villanova. Proceeds benefit the elderly residents of Holy Family Home in Southwest Philadelphia, operated by the sisters.

Described as playing “immigrant rock,” Scythian celebrates 10 years of getting people on the floor to dance.

Doors open at 6 p.m. and food is available. The concert begins at 8 p.m. and, after an intermission, the second show begins at 11.

Tickets are $50 per person, $20 for students and $10 for children 12 and under, and includes admission, food, beverages and a silent auction.
