Holy Week began with the joyful and solemn celebration of Mass and the proclamation of the passion of Jesus on Palm Sunday, March 29, at the Cathedral Basilica of SS. Peter and Paul in Philadelphia. Father Dennis Gill, cathedral rector, led one of the morning Masses. The cathedral will also host liturgies for the Triduum — Holy Thursday, Good Friday and Holy Saturday — the most sacred time for Christians around the world.
