All are welcome to the October G.I.F.T. (Growing in Faith Together) program on Tuesday, Oct. 11 at 7 p.m. in the St. Stanislaus Parish Center in Lansdale.
Presenter Sherry Sikora, from the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), will speak on “Dealing with Mental Health Issues.” One in four adults is affected by some form of serious mental illness.
Learn about the resources available to assist those living with mental illness, and how, in the context of faith and community, we can work to break down barriers and stop the stigma against people who live with mental health issues.
The Parish Center is located behind St. Stanislaus Church at Lansdale Avenue and Main Street (Route 63) in Lansdale. The event is free, and registration is not required. Refreshments will be served.
