“A Dream in Black and White — Growing in Understanding as Catholics” is the theme of the 34th annual Archdiocesan Gathering in honor of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
A prayer service will be led by Archbishop Charles Chaput on Monday, Jan. 16 at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, Lafayette Hill. A choir prelude will begin at 6:30 p.m. and the prayer service at 7. Light refreshments will be served afterward.
All the faithful are invited to join in prayer and conversation at the service, which intends to offer praise to God and to encourage mutual understanding across divides of race and color.
St. Philip’s is located at 437 Ridge Pike, Lafayette Hill, Montgomery County.
For more information on the event, contact the Archdiocese of Philadelphia’s Office for Black Catholics at 215-587-3541.

I’m wondering if you have considered making changes to the way you post Events on the website. While I am very thankful for your willingness to post events from parishes like ours (St. John Vianney, Gladwyne) the way the events are posted makes it difficult to find what is happening TODAY.
The events are posted not in order of the date of the event by rather by the date they are posted on the site. Events that occurred in December are on page 2 while other events (such as our Blood Drive on January 19th) are further back.
I’ve also noticed that you have 65 pages of events in the list the oldest posted March 1, 2011.
Thank you.
