Independence Day comes early in Holland, Bucks County, as St. Bede the Venerable Church will present for the 11th year its annual Patriotic Concert on Monday, July 3.
The concert will be held on the church lawn at 1071 Holland Road where there is plenty of room for everyone in the community and beyond to bring their lawn chairs, relax and enjoy the show.
(In case of rain, the concert will be held either at the St. Bede Gymnasium or in the auditorium of Council Rock South High School).

The concert will begin at 7 p.m., featuring the Verdi Concert Band of Norristown. Guest soloists include soprano and Holland resident Robin Lynn Robbins and fellow soprano Jaye Green.
Along with patriotic standards such as “The Liberty Bell March,” “God Bless America” and of course “The Star Spangled Banner,” the concert will feature a tribute to the music of Frank Sinatra, a salute to Elvis Presley and selections from popular films and Broadway shows.
The concert continues with a salute to all branches of the military, and concludes with a rousing rendition of the “1812 Overture” and “Stars and Stripes Forever.” Bring a small flag or bell to participate in the finale!
Everyone is encouraged to attend this free community event. Bring drinks and snacks or purchase some at the event.
