The Catholic Center for Young Adults at St. Stanislaus will host a beef and beer to raise funds for the Laboure Society, which defrays student loan debt for youth pursuing religious life.
The event will take place on Sunday, April 29 from 12:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. at 240 Fitzwater Street in Philadelphia.
Tickets, which are $25 each, cover meals and drinks. Proceeds will directly support Tucker Brown, a candidate seminarian with the Archdiocese of Philadelphia living at the CCYA men’s house adjacent to St. Stanislaus. Brown, a member of the Laboure Society’s spring 2018 class, hopes to raise $60,000 to fund his priestly vocation.
