We can make choices for good or bad, but there are consequences for them, which Jesus clearly teaches about in this Sunday’s Gospel reading, explains Father Matt Guckin. If we remain connected to Jesus we can make good choices and, like a grapevine, bear much fruit.

Thanks, Doc. I always appreciate your feedback. And I love the analogy of the hockey goalie without a fishing pole.
I have been listening to Father Guckin’s homilies since he began posting them. He is always inspiring and insightful. He brings a knowledge of Scripture and its relevance to important matters such as judgement in this reflection. One would imagine this is difficult to do week after week but Father does it. I would compare him to a left fielder on a baseball team, he always brings his glove!
