The Mother Boniface Spirituality Center in Northeast Philadelphia will offer “Movies with a Message,” a film and discussion series, on four consecutive Fridays from 9:45 a.m. to 12 p.m.
The family-friendly flicks, each rated G, will be followed by short reflections and prayer. The $2 per person admission fee includes the movie, popcorn and a drink. The hall is air conditioned, and chairs will be provided. Attendees may also bring blankets and pillows if they wish.
The series will be held on July 13, 20 and 27 and Aug. 3 in St. Joseph’s Hall at 3501 Solly Avenue in Philadelphia. All youth must be accompanied by an adult who will stay during the entire event; no drop-offs are permitted.
