St. Raymond of Penafort Parish in Philadelphia has teamed up with archdiocesan Catholic Social Services for a community baby shower on Saturday, Oct. 13 from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. in the hall of St. Raymond’s Parish School.
The event will feature classes on caring for babies and young children, along with a number of resources for young families.
A moon bounce, DJ, raffles, games, face painting and free food will round out the afternoon.
The baby shower is free and no registration is required.

Catholic Social Services (CSS) of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia has been meeting basic human needs within the Philadelphia area since 1797.
Last year, CSS provided services to more than 5,000 pregnant women.
In addition, CSS’s numerous agencies administer a wide range of programs that serve thousands of men, women and children every year throughout the city of Philadelphia and the surrounding five-county area.
