A series offered by the Mother Boniface Spirituality Center will focus on 10 hymns found in the New Testament that express the faith of the first believers in Christ.
“A New Testament Hymnal,” an Advent Bible study, will examine the words used by early Christians to express the the mystery of the Incarnation, and God’s plan of loving goodness and salvation.
The series will be presented by Sister Sara Butler, MSBT, S.T.L., Ph.D. , who has been a seminary professor of theology and is currently a consultant to the Pontifical Council for Promoting the New Evangelization.
The sessions will take place on Tuesday evenings from 7 – 8:30 p.m. at the Mother Boniface Spirituality Center, located at 3501 Solly Avenue, Philadelphia, Pa., 19136. The series begins on Tuesday, Nov. 27 and ends on Dec. 18.
