Event Description
Join the St. Charles Borromeo Seminary community Friday, Feb. 1 at 8 p.m. for a First Friday Holy Hour of Eucharistic Adoration. Join us for an evening of prayer before our Lord to ask for his mercy upon his church and in our own lives. We gather in confident hope for a new outpouring of the Holy Spirit to set the church aflame with radical holiness, fidelity to the Gospel and desire for intimacy with his most Sacred Heart — in the presence of the heart of a patron saint of our seminary and all diocesan priests, St. John Vianney.

The Shrine of Ars, France, has entrusted to the Knights of Columbus the major relic of St. Jean Vianney’s incorrupt heart for a national tour in the U.S., from November 2018 through early June 2019.

The Knights of Columbus welcomes this special opportunity to offer for veneration a major relic of the patron of parish priests, whose holiness and integrity is a model for clergy and laity alike.

In our Holy Hour there will be contemporary praise and worship music, traditional chant, time for silent prayer, and a Litany of the Sacred Heart. Join the seminarians after for a social with light refreshments!
