More than 600 kids who make use of Catholic Social Services’ Out-Of-School Time programs had fun playing games, sports, swimming, face painting and more on a sunny Friday, July 19 at Neshaminy Shore Picnic Park. OST programs in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia serve some 16,000 children and youth each year, providing safe and engaging educational experiences after school hours during the academic year and over the summer as well. OST benefits from the Archbishop’s Benefit for Children, a year-round fundraising effort that supports CSS’ youth programs for children, adults and families of all faiths throughout the five-county area.
