Emmet Cahill, Irish tenor and a principal singer of PBS favorite Celtic Thunder, will return to St. Kevin Church in Springfield for a solo performance on Sunday, Sept. 15 at 2 p.m.
Cahill enjoyed an enthusiastic response during a 2018 performance at the parish.
In his upcoming concert, Cahill will perform well-known Irish sing-alongs, Broadway standards, nostalgic favorites and beloved church hymns.
In addition, the show will feature his “request medley,” which has proven to be a favorite with his audiences.
Cahill will also debut songs from his new album, “Blessings of Music.”
As a solo artist, Cahill has performed in over 70 cities in North America, and has been a featured guest artist with several U.S. symphonies, including a show at Carnegie Hall.
Tickets are $30 and $45, and may be purchased at www.Emmetcahill.com or at the St. Kevin parish office from Monday through Thursday between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m.
