Event Description

The Power of Prayer: Saint Therese of Lisieux as the Patroness of Missions

 

Why is a young cloistered Carmelite the patroness of missions? Marisa Guerin, Ph.D., will tell the story of the Little Flower’s own conversion and her way of supporting the missions. She will explain why mission begins with an encounter with the Lord Jesus and a commitment to discipleship. Prayer is the indispensable foundation of all our missionary efforts.

 

Part 2 and 3 of the program will be held on the following Thursday evenings, Oct. 10 and Oct. 17.
