-a light reception to follow-
For the first event of the season, we are pleased to feature two documentary projects that recount the history of efforts to preserve sacred space in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia.
We will be showing short films: one on St. Peter Claver produced by the Advocates and Descendants of St. Peter Claver presented by Mrs.
Adrienne Harris and a second on St. Laurentius and St. Peter Claver produced and presented by Ms. Francesca Reznik.
A discussion with the presenters will follow the screenings.
Adrienne Harris, a lifelong member of St. Peter Claver, has worked for many years to collect and preserve the history of the parish.
Francesca Reznik, a 2019 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, investigated the fight to save St. Laurentius for her senior thesis.
