When the Roman Catholic High School and Archbishop Carroll High School football teams squared off Nov. 27 for a non-league game they began a new Thanksgiving tradition. Carroll prevailed with a 15-7 win over Roman. The schools signed a two-year agreement last fall to make the game an annual tradition. In a sign of fellowship and sportsmanship, Roman also hosted the Carroll team, its coaches and administration in a pre-Thanksgiving breakfast Nov. 25. Roman is located in Center City Philadelphia, and Carroll is in Radnor, Delaware County. (Photos by D’Mont Reese)
