Event Description
As a spiritual discipline for Lent, study and pray with the Psalms the
Church chooses for this season. The Psalms help us express contrition,
repentance, and conversion of heart. In them we beg God to have mercy
on us and on the whole world. The five sessions will address: The
Psalms as Christian Prayer; Responsorial Psalms for Lenten Sundays;
The Seven Penitential Psalms; The Psalms Jesus Prayed during his
Passion; Psalms for Holy Week/Tenebrae.

Our Presenter, Sr. Sara Butler, MSBT, S.T.L., Ph.D. has been a
seminary professor of theology and is a consultant to the Pontifical
Council for Promoting the New Evangelization. Please register or call
at least one day prior to sessions so adequate set up and materials
