In his homily for the Feast of the Presentation, Father Joseph LoJacono, pastor of St. Veronica and St. Hugh of Cluny Parishes in Philadelphia, describes how wisdom enabled Simeon and Anna to see in the infant Jesus the Savior of the world.

Like them, and like Mary (who uniquely shared in Christ’s sufferings), we can enter more deeply into the mystery of salvation, and seek to be Christ’s presence in the world.
