Our Lady Help of Christians Church, Abington, hosted a Mass Dec. 6 sponsored by the Philadelphia Archdiocesan Holy Name Union, with Archbishop Nelson Perez as celebrant and homilist. The 41st annual Mass also honored the cause of canonization for Blessed John of Vercelli, founder of the Holy Name Society. The Sunday noon Mass was preceded by a morning rosary walk. Holy Name members pray the following prayer regularly: Blessed John of Vercelli, intercede on behalf of our efforts to make known the glory of the Most Holy Name of Jesus!
