Pennsylvanians for Human Life will host a virtual “Celebrate Life” fundraiser Sunday, March 21 at 6:30 p.m.
The theme of the event is “Follow the Science,” with the assertion that science has proven that life begins at conception, presented through videos.
Camille Pawley, co-founder and president of the organization “Healing the Culture,” will speak in the first video on “Is the Embryo a Human Being?”
Following is Robert Pushaw, the James Wilson Endowed Professor of Law at Pepperdine Caruso School of Law, who will speak on the points of law around “Roe vs. Wade” discussed in the previous video.
In a third video Deacon Alvin Clay, founder and managing partner of Alvin Clay Advisors and a member of the National Catholic Bioethics Center in Philadelphia, will provide an overview of Pennsylvanians for Human Life’s revenues and expenses and explain the financial and tax advantages of charitable giving.
Dave J. Owsik, an estate and business planning adviser and a member of PHL’s board of directors, will also discuss PHL’s future plans and how you can help.
Also during the event Father Tad Pacholczyk will receive the PHL’s Margaret Way Hoffner Award. He is director of education at the National Catholic Bioethics Center and directs its National Catholic Certification Program in Health Care Ethics.
