St. Bede the Venerable Parish in Holland, Bucks County will celebrate the Year of St. Joseph with a triduum in preparation for his feast day, March 17 to 19, 7 p.m. at the church each evening.

Leading the three-day event is Father David M. Friel, a Philadelphia priest who is currently a doctoral candidate in liturgical theology at the Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C. He is a native son of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish in Doylestown, and served for five years as parochial vicar at St. Anselm Parish in Northeast Philadelphia.
The nightly schedule follows:
Wednesday, March 17: “Joseph the Just Worker.” Includes evening prayer, exposition, benediction and confession.
Thursday, March 18: “Joseph the Sleeping Saint.” Includes evening prayer, exposition, benediction and confession.
Friday, March 19 (Solemnity of St. Joseph): “Joseph the Spouse of Mary.” Includes Mass with litany and consecration to St. Joseph.
