Hundreds of Catholics celebrated their Puerto Rican heritage during a Mass Thursday, Sept. 23 at the Cathedral Basilica of SS. Peter and Paul led by Archbishop Nelson J. Perez. Participating were an honor guard of numerous Philadelphia Police officers, children and young women in traditional dress, priests who serve in Hispanic ministry and waving among all, the colors of the flag of Puerto Rico.
